TrailMed | K-Tape | Blister Care | Arch of Feet
Blisters on the arch of your feet can make everyday activities and sports very uncomfortable. TrailMed's Kinesiology Tape (K tape) is a great solution for both preventing and treating these blisters, providing better adhesion and longer-lasting protection than traditional blister plasters.
Follow these simple steps to tape blisters on the arch of your feet:
Clean and Dry: Make sure the area is clean and dry to help the tape adhere better and stay in place longer.
Measure and Cut: Cut a piece of K tape long enough to cover the blister and a bit beyond the edges. Round the corners of the tape to prevent it from peeling off easily.
Anchor the Tape: Place the center of the tape over the blister on the arch of your foot, ensuring that both ends extend beyond the blister.
Wrap the Arch: Gently wrap the tape around the arch of your foot, covering the blister area. Make sure the tape is snug but not too tight to allow for natural movement and blood flow.
Smooth the Tape: Press and smooth out the tape, removing any wrinkles or bubbles to ensure it adheres properly to your skin.
Secure the Edges: Make sure the edges are securely adhered to your skin, and gently press down the tape to ensure it sticks well.
