About Action Challenge
Action Challenge specialise in challenging outdoor events; are based in London, have been in business for 20 years. From the outset their focus was on group travel & adventures to stunning destinations across the globe, with a style of fully supported trips that enabled ordinary people to push themselves further. At TrailMed we’re proud of the lengths we go to working in partnership with Action Challenge to bring their clients unforgettable experiences.
An Action Challenge event is like no other, in the UK TrailMed provides fully services rest stops with event medical teams consisting of doctors, nurses, paramedics and first responders. Our Health & Wellbeing teams offer sports massage and physiotherapists at half-waypoint and finish lines, fully crewed ambulances with paramedics patrol the route and our challenge safety teams work with the Action Challenge crew to ensure a safe event.
But what makes Action Challenge’s events special is the way the participants groups bond together, with new friendships forged, and horizons broadened. This has been keenly observed as all ages and abilities cheer each other on as they attempt to run, walk or job their way to the finish line.
But it doesn’t stop there! Action Challenge run special Group Adventures to the Himalayas, Africa, The Americas, Iceland, China and many more amazing backdrops for real adventures. TrailMed is privileged to work with Action Challenge by providing expedition medics, equipment and medicines to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all challengers - no matter the environment or challenge!
