TrailMed | K-Tape | Support | Plantar Fasciitis
TrailMed K-Tape is an effective solution for providing support and pain relief for plantar fasciitis, particularly beneficial for athletes such as cyclists, runners, and walkers. This taping method can help alleviate discomfort, reduce inflammation, and provide stability for the foot, enabling you to maintain peak performance and reduce the risk of further injury. TrailMed K-Tape can support various foot-related conditions, including plantar fasciitis, heel pain, arch strain, and general foot pain.
Follow These Simple Steps to Tape Your Foot for Plantar Fasciitis
Prepare the Tape: Cut two strips of TrailMed K-Tape, each about 12-14 inches long. Round the corners of the tape to prevent peeling.
Anchor Strip: Peel the backing off one strip and apply it horizontally across the bottom of the foot, just behind the ball of the foot. Rub the tape to activate the adhesive.
Support Strip: Peel the backing off the second strip and apply it vertically along the arch of the foot, starting from the base of the toes and extending up towards the heel. Rub the tape to ensure it adheres well.
Tension Strip: For additional support, cut a shorter strip of tape (around 6-8 inches) and apply it diagonally across the arch, crossing the first two strips. Apply the tape with moderate tension to provide extra stability.
Final Adjustments: Ensure the tape is securely in place and make any necessary adjustments to ensure comfort and proper support.
Rub the Tape: Rub the tape gently to activate the adhesive and ensure it sticks well to your skin.
