TrailMed | K-Tape | Blister Care | Toes

Blisters on your toes can be a painful annoyance, especially during long walks, runs, or hikes. TrailMed's Kinesiology Tape (K tape) is a fantastic solution for both preventing and caring for toe blisters, offering better adhesion and longer-lasting protection than traditional blister plasters.

Follow these simple steps to tape your toe blisters:

  1. Clean and Dry: Ensure your toe and the surrounding area are clean and dry. This helps the tape adhere better and stay in place longer.

  2. Measure and Cut: Cut a piece of K tape long enough to wrap around your toe. Make sure to round the edges of the tape to prevent it from peeling off easily.

  3. Anchor the Tape: Start by anchoring one end of the tape at the base of your toe, just below the blister or area prone to blistering.

  4. Wrap the Toe: Gently wrap the tape around your toe, covering the blister area. Ensure the tape is snug but not too tight, as you want to allow for natural movement and blood flow.

  5. Smooth Out: Smooth out the tape to remove any wrinkles or bubbles, ensuring it adheres properly to your skin.

  6. Secure the Ends: Overlap the ends of the tape slightly to secure it in place. You can add another layer of tape if you need extra support or protection.
